The Final Fantasy franchise is all about complex characters, great settings, and awesome gameplay mixed with fantastic storytelling. A lot of fans have been waiting for Final Fantasy XV, the latest installment of this popular role-playing game. And now that it's finally here, will it be able to live up to the quality of the other Final Fantasy titles?

Here are six reasons to get your button-mashing hands on Final Fantasy XV:

Playstation VR mode

Since virtual reality is quite popular nowadays, Final Fantasy XV decided to tap into Playstation VR to completely immerse players in the environment. Of course, you'll need a Sony VR headset. But if you don't have one, you can still play it on the PS4 and Xbox One

You'll never run out of things to do

In this title, you can explore Altissia, a city packed with people and a lot of secrets to uncover. You'll definitely enjoy going here to interact with other people and solve mysteries hidden within the city's canal-lined streets.

Three types of magical elements

In Final Fantasy XV, you'll be able to find three magical elements which consists of Fire, Ice, and Lightning. You can customize these to produce a variety of effects. You can harness the magical energy from certain areas in the field, which can then be converted into different abilities.

It's all about exploration

Previous Final Fantasy titles restrict you from going out of cities and hubs. You won't have to worry about that in Final Fantasy XV as you are allowed to roam freely in the open world. Try to pick up a car while you're at it to make things a bit easier when you're playing.

Upgrade your flying car

To make your driving experience a bit more fun, you'll be allowed to customize your vehicle and even turn it into an airship.

Wait mode

When you're in trouble while playing, you can select "Wait Mode" to pause whatever is happening. As a player, you can freeze the frame while you decide on what move you should make and the target you're aiming for. You have to wait for your gauge to reload though in order to use "Wait Mode" again.
