Most fans will agree that one of the best things about Daredevil season two (aside from the smashingly hot Elektra, of course) was the participation of The Punisher in the storyline. Character actor Jon Bernthal’s portrayal of the damaged mercenary was riveting, making admirers of the show addicted to his unique brand of rage and violence. Deep down, everyone knew he had a heart of gold. But whenever Frank Castle entered a scene, guns out and bullets flying everywhere, the rampage was always set to level 11, ensuring exciting entertainment that didn't hold back.

And now, due to incessant demand from viewers, The Punisher is finally getting his own series. The setting is New York City—dark, grim, and festering with criminal activity. After exacting revenge on the people responsible for murdering his wife and family, Frank Castle unearths conspiracies that involve the most ruthless members of the criminal underworld. Will The Punisher’s ruthless philosophy when it comes vigilantism be enough to save those involved and affected? Only time will tell since the premiere date has yet to be revealed. Damn you, Netflix!
