Star Wars: The Force Awakens comes out in DVD and Blu-Ray formats today. To whet our appetite for the big release, Disney has been teasing snippets from the bonus content included in the pack. We've already featured one of those: Rey's audition clip. Yesterday, Disney added a teaser for you, hardcore SW fan.
The clip, which comes from the Secrets of the Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey making-of documentary, features interviews with Adam Driver a.k.a. Kylo Ren and director JJ Abrams. Driver talks about Kylo's past and how the lack of parental presence may have shaped the Dark Side of Ren. Big bad Supreme Leader Snoke, on the other hand, bided his time and let the negative emotions stew inside Ren. He knew The Force was strong in that one, and when the time came, he wanted to make an ally out of Ren, as Abrams tells us in the video.

So basically: Kylo Ren just wanted some attention when he was a baby, and only "uncle" Snoke was there as influence.
