In a week's time, geek season will be in full bloom as Avengers: Age Of Ultron kicks off 2015's Summer Of Blockbusters!
To tide us over until opening day (April 22!), we've found a number of things that make the kid in us giddy. Let's start!
PSYLOCKE WILL BE PLAYED BY OLIVIA MUNN!
Psylocke. Olivia Munn. Those two names are enough to give hardcore comic book fans and gamers a day-long hard-on. That those names will be associated with each other EXPONENTIALLY increases their appeal.
Olivia, former Attack Of The Show host, is all set to fit into Psylocke's tight ninja outfit and wield her psychic abilities in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016.
Singer, the director, announced it on his Instagram account last April 13:
THE AVENGERS PLAY FAMILY FEUD!
Jimmy Kimmel, during a segment in his talk show, got Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner to play Family Feud.
The game was a battle between Team Mans (Downey, Johansson, and Hemsworth) and Team Americas (Evans, Ruffalo, and Renner), with teams attempting to answer life-or-death questions like "Which is the worst place to transform into the Hulk?" and "What things do people like doing in the cinema aside from watching a movie?"
SILENCE! THE NEWEST AGE OF ULTRON TRAILER IS HERE!
No, it doesn't feature more Hulk Vs. Hulkbuster scenes. Yes, it features more of the titular supervillain trading blows with our favorite Comic Book Good Guy Team:
