If you have a penchant curiosity for the unknown, enjoy stuff that explodes and find the fun in analyzing scientific methods, then you must be a fan of the popular Discovery Channel show Mythbusters.

Tomorrow night's episode, 28 January, will feature experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman meet up with Green Hornet star and funnyman Seth Rogen to take on the challenge of analyzing two popular scenes from the 1966 action-comedy remake.

The challenge: Rogen, a self-confessed super-fan of the show, wanted to find out what would happen if some of these far-out Hollywood sequences were played out in real life.

And so the duo utter the words "challenge accepted."

“I’m a big fan of Mythbusters,” says Rogen.  “We were making a big action movie and it just seemed like the only time we could do something like this.  I watch the show all the time and it just seemed cool to see if the stuff in our movie was possible in any way, shape or form.”

With Rogen right behind them, the two will challenge themselves with two pivotal scenes from the movie.

In “Explosive Escape,” the Green Hornet and his sidekick Kato are pushed into a hole and buried alive inside the iconic car Black Beauty.

To escape, they use explosives courtesy of some handy dandy built-in rockets. With the help of a little creative ingenuity, some scientific perspective and a whole lot of TNT, movie-myth debunking is made fun and fiery!

In “Elevator Car Cut,” meanwhile, Rogen enlists Kari, Grant and Tory to take on another action sequence from the film where our heroes are caught in some other form of car trouble.

After tireless gunfire from their enemies, the two end up crashing in an elevator.  As the elevator makes its way up, it slices the car in half, leaving them to escape in the front half of the car. In this experiment, team Mythbusters built their own elevator using 3 tons of steel.

Tune in if you’re the type of moviegoer who manages to irritate everyone in the audience by analyzing each and every goddamn scene while screaming, “Imposible kaya yun!”

Mythbusters: The Green Hornet Special will air 8pm on Friday, Januray 28, on the Discovery Channel.
