The nail-biter between Ginebra and Meralco in Game 2 of the PBA Governors' Cup Finals series proved too electrifying even for hardcore fans as everyone went all-out in cheering and jeering against their counterparts in a sea of 16,000 spectators at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Spotted in the crowd was none other than Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa who didn’t hold back and went full fanboy mode as he was seen wildly jumping while rooting for Ginebra. Well, who wouldn’t if you’re in the same place with the likes of the legendary Robert Jaworski?

But Bato’s excitement quickly turned into anxiety as the jolly general realized that he apparently lost his wallet during the commotion. Fortunately for him, Dela Rosa was able to breathe a sigh of relief after his aides found it after the game, SPIN.ph reports.

"Akala ko nawala na ang wallet ko... Pero nahulog lang naman pala, andoon pala sa ilalim ng upuan ko," Dela Rosa was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, netizens poked some harmless fun at Bato over the incident. Check out these funny reactions on social media:
