Jon Snow’s lifeless body and the familiar voice of Ser Davos Seaworth (“I thought he was the man to lead us through the long night, and I was wrong”) set the dark tone of Game of Thrones’ second trailer for Season 6.

The two-minute trailer features glimpses of the various characters of the show like Jaime Lannister and Stark siblings Bran, Arya, and Sansa all seemingly undergoing trials.

There's also a quick scene where Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is stripped by her Dothraki captors.

Near the end, Cersei Lannister speaks to someone, presumably her son King Tommen Baratheon, and persuades him to go to war to seek revenge. “Stand at the head of our army where you belong," says Cersei. "Show them what Lannisters are, what we do to our enemies.”

The last scene of the trailer shows Tyrion Lannister as he encounters one of Daenerys’ dragons in a dark dungeon.
