With the massive success of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story last year, Disney has set its sights on a Blu-ray release of the film that proves that the Star Wars franchise goes beyond just the Skywalkers.
To promote this release, Disney launched a two-minute parody adaptation of a kid using Lego figures to retell the story featuring Darth Vader, Jyn Erso and the rag-tag rebel alliance.
But fans easily noticed there was something different as Disney took a more child-friendly approach to the short adaptation by providing an alternate ending that sees the ill-fated rebels spared.
Despite this, the whole thing was well-received as netizens praised the efforts of the kid’s mom who essentially saved the day and the lives of the rebel alliance.
This isn’t the first time though that a Lego movie of Rogue One was created. There have been parts of the film that talented fans have already converted into stop motion videos.
