Marvel and Sony have released the latest trailer of the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film slated for later this year.
In the trailer, more of Spidey’s new suit tech is revealed including what appears to be a spider drone, a timed web trap and self-adjusting capabilities.
The complex relationship between Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) is next shown as both mentor and student clash with their different approaches in dealing with villains.
Parker, who seems too eager to officially join the ranks of the Avengers, also asks Stark how he could join the team.
“Do me a favor, can’t you just be a friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man? Just stay close to the ground,” Stark advises Parker.
Aside from this, we also get a glimpse of main villain Vulture (Michael Keaton), who rips a ship in half and appears to be fighting a low-tech Spider-Man after Stark confiscates his suit.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
