It’s no secret that Maginhawa is a foodie strip, but parking problems, long waiting times, and overcrowded restaurants are just some of the factors that keep it from becoming the number one choice when dining out. Despite these disadvantages, however, the experience isn't actually that bad. In fact, if you haven’t checked the place out in a while, you’re actually missing quite a lot. Not only are there new places to eat, but they all have sweet unlimited deals? Believe us, it’s high time to revisit this street ASAP!

Romantic Baboy

Budget: P499

This go-to samgyupsal resto won many hearts when they served their Korean meat cuts with gobs of gooey and stringy cheese. This definitely isn’t the place to take your date to, not with the insanely long lines—although fewer people dine here than its first branch in Tomas Morato. Your long wait will be rewarded with unlimited cheesy samgyupsal and a no-time-limit policy so you can eat to your heart’s content.

There are lots of K-BBQ options nowadays, but Samgyupsalamat is one of those places where you really get your money’s worth. Yummy side dishes, fast service, and long opening hours—you just can’t beat this list! However, we’re not so pleased that their bulgogi servings aren’t as well-marinated, tasty, and tender as they were before. Hear us out, please—bring back the original cut of the beef bulgogi!

If Korean barbecue is not your idea of courting a heart attack, maybe unlimited bacon is. Oinkster serves all kinds of pork dishes from franks, ribs, to known Filipino classics like tocino and sisig. If they could add bacon to each item on their menu, we’re sure they would. Here, you can enjoy your breakfast favorites all day, and the hearty crunch and savory goodness of bacon. For P299, you get two cups of rice (or two stacks of waffles), a scrambled egg, and stacks of refillable bacon. Now that’s what we call a champion’s (all-day) breakfast.

Naughty Nachos

When you plan to cheat on your diet, this is the place to get crazy. Fill up your plate (and tummy) with unlimited wings, pasta, fries, and nachos for only P399. This place is also known for their mountain of nachos (aka Nacho Volcano), which they claim is the biggest and cheesiest stack of nacho chips, yummy cheese, salsa, and beef in the Philippines.

Wing James

Budget: 599

They have this ongoing promo called the Ultimate Warrior that offers unlimited chicken wings, ribs, barbecue chops, pasta, pizza, fries, and nachos, so you definitely should bring a caveman appetite with you. Okay, hold your horses—that’s not even the best part! It’ll only take an additional P100 to make your choice of alcoholic beverage bottomless. We know where we’re gonna kickstart our weekend!

Budget: P299

How can you say no to unlimited shrimp, wings, pasta, and pizza? That almost completes our list of most-craved comfort foods, so we saved the best for last: UNLI. This Maginhawa food joint has more than 140 thousand followers on Facebook, with a load of them saying that this is the most bang-for-the-buck deal they’ve ever spent money on. You don’t even have to shell out that much, just P299! Be prepared to say hello to high cholesterol!
