Because of the diverse beer selection (both local and international) and the various tastes that each bottle offers, pairing this fizzy drink with a meal you’re about to order can sometimes be quite a challenge. Most of the time, we just settle for the usual favorites, like sisig, crispy pata, tokwa’t baboy, and more. There's no problem with doing that. But of course, if your out to impress a special someone stay away from dishes you'd much on during ordinary inuman sessions with your bros. It’s time to amp up the game, kind sir. Trust that knowing how to pair your beer and food can take your otherwise usual date night to a whole new level. Aside from bringing out the flavors of both the beer and the food you two are about to eat, you're sure to impress your lady with your pairing expertise.
To ensure that you find the right food and beer combination, we asked Chef Antonio Jose Reyes, executive chef and owner of Privatus Private Dining, along with their partner, Monkey Eagle Brewery, to help us out.
