The much-awaited rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz on UFC 200 is going to push through after all. This is according to McGregor’s tweet just a couple of minutes ago.

McGregor thanked UFC President Dana White and Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Fortita for his return. If confirmed, millions of fans around the world would be happy to know that the rift between UFC and McGregor has finally been cleared.

Last week, McGregor announced on Twitter that he was retiring from the Octagon. The Irishman cited the pre-fight media appearances as the main reason, stating in a lengthy Facebook post that they have become a distraction.

Due to his refusal to commit to his pre-fight obligations, White decided to pull McGregor out of UFC 200.

Although there's no official statement yet from White or the UFC, the tweet somehow appeases the people disappointed by McGregor's "retirement" drama.
