The sports world mourns the passing of legendary sideline reporter Craig Sager. He was 65.

Sager, who is known for his intuitive interviews as much as his flamboyant fashion, has joined our Creator after a fierce battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

He took almost a year off to get treatment, and was able to return to do the thing he loved the most. Despite braving through two bone marrow transplants, the cancer returned and he was given three to six months to live. More and more people then started showing their support for the man they've grown to admire via the hashtag "SagerStrong."

His career as a reporter stretched to other sports such as baseball and football, but hoops fans fondly remember Sager for his stellar sideline work in the NBA.

The league and its stars paid fitting tributes on social media.

His Turner Sports family prepared an emotional monologue—read by long-time colleague Ernie Johnson—summing up how tremendous of a person Sager was.

Being big basketball junkies, FHM compiled the colorful character's montage of his most memorable exchanges and came up with his own mixtape, just like any other NBA superstar—he's more than deserving of one, if you ask us.

When it comes to Sager's supposed fashion faux pas, though, no one calls him out better than Kevin Garnett.

On the other hand, his segments with Gregg Popovich are absolute TV gold and could merit a separate feature.

The best Sager-Popovich interaction, though, may even be without the legendary sideline reporter.

Rest now, Sager. You—and your suits—won't be forgotten.
