We're going to need all the puso we can muster, because the Philippines is set to take on a couple of powerhouse teams early on. And between you and us, it looks like we're in for a world of ass-whooping. Here's a preview of what to expect from each team Gilas will face in FIBA World Cup Spain 2014's Group B!

CROATIA

Damjan Rudez and Bojan Bogdanovic are both expected to play for the Indiana Pacers and the Brooklyn Nets, respectively. They are joined by Roko Ukic (Toronto Raptors), Oliver Lafayette (Boston Celtics), and Damir Markota (Milwaukee Bucks), who all spent time in the NBA not too long ago. Big man Dario Saric was also selected 14th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2014 NBA Draft.

But Gilas must really watch out for:
Bojan Bogdanovic

The 6'8" shooting guard exploded in the 2013 Eurobasket with averages of 17.1 points and 4.1 rebounds, and is capable of putting up 25-point games thanks in part to his outside shooting.

But Gilas must really watch out for:
Nick Calathes

The 25-year-old 6'6" point guard only averaged 4.9 points and 2.9 assists for Memphis last season, but is expected to contribute heavily for his national team. He even managed to put up 9.2 points and 2.6 rebounds at the 2011 Eurobasket.
