The Golden State Warriors' Klay Thompson has been having a remarkable year.
He is averaging 22.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, all career highs, while helping his team vault up the standings with a Western Conference-leading 38-8 record. The sharpshooting guard is also on his way to his first NBA All-Star appearance along with Splash Brother Stephen Curry.
The biggest highlight so far of Klay's tremendous season was his scorching, record-smashing 37-point third quarter in a January 23 game against the Sacramento Kings. He finished with a career-high 52 points, but the third quarter barrage was the big story as it leapt over Carmelo Anthony and George Gervin's previous NBA record for most points in a quarter with 33.
Clearly, Klay is playing inspired basketball. But what could his secret be? A secret training routine? Some special performance juice? Is Klay foregoing sleep to shoot extra threes in the gym? None of the above.
But we think we know. Some snooping around revealed that just as Klay secured a $70 million max deal with his ball club, he also sealed the deal with a girl named Hannah Stocking back in November 2014.
This is her:
Little is known about Stocking other than the fact that she's a model, a very hot one at that, and whose signature seems to be her prominent hips that put Iggy Azalea's to shame. She also just recently turned 23.
Her claim to Internet fame was this Vine clip uploaded on August 1, 2013 called "How girls react to guys VS How guys react to girls":
Since then, the L.A.-born hottie has become somewhat of an Internet sensation, claiming 1.1 million Instagram followers to her name to date. We bet you know what we did next. Yup, we clicked follow, and picked out some of her best Insta-snaps, which we've laid out below. Enjoy, and may you find your own hot basketball inspiration!
Don't you wish you had your own Hannah Stocking fueling you to set NBA records? We sure do!
