Come Thursday, October 10, legendary grappling star Demian Maia may get a taste of his own medicine, as his UFC on Fox Sports 1 opponent, former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields, vows to beat him at his own game. That's big talk, Jake! We hope you know that you're about to step inside the cage with the most decorated Brazilian Jiu-jitsu practitioner in all of MMA!


From where we're standing, and if his previous fight against former contender Jon Fitch is any indication, UFC president Dana White looks to be priming Maia up for a potential welterweight title shot by putting him in match-ups that will give him a chance to showcase his amazing ground skills.
