Pinoy Pool masters Efren "Bata" Reyes and Francisco "Django" Bustamante, the heavily favored duo to win this year's 2009 World Cup of Pool, toyed with rivals from Qatar, 8-3, right at the beginning of the six-day event.

Team B of the Philippines, comprised of Dennis Orcollo and Ronnie Alcano, followed suit the very nexy day with an 8-5 victory over their Thai rivals.

As host country, the Philippines is allowed two representative teams. And with the two teams spread out—and winning—many are looking out for an all-Pinoy finals.

To cheer on our flag bearers, here's a look at what the four have got to say about Pinoy Power, their pre-game rituals, and their rockstar status.

On Noypi power:
Dennis Orcullo:
I think lalaban tayo hanggang sa huli. It's the Filipino's trademark. What more na rito ang labanan?
Efren "Bata" reyes: We have players who are excellent shooters and breakers. Ang gulang ko sa ganyan!

On idol Efren:
Bustamante:
Not that he stinks. hindi mo maiaalis sa kanya yun. It's his quirck and it works!
