The Warriors won 110-95 over the Pelicans, but not without Draymond Green getting into another scuffle with longtime rival DeMarcus Cousins. Fortunately, the on-court altercation didn’t erupt into a full-blown brawl that might have ended with fines, or worse, suspensions.
Now, the NBA’s defending champions are heading into a game against the Sacramento Kings with what appears to be a badly depleted lineup following an injury report.
But the Warriors’ woes don’t end there. To worsen the situation, veteran star Andre Iguodala was also listed in doubtful form for their next game.
The Warriors last played the Kings during the preseason last month and won 117-106. We’re not really worried about the result of their upcoming game but if these injuries are any indication of things to come then it might be high time for the defending champs to think of a strategy so their roster remains healthy until they reach the Finals.
