When the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE) warned viewers not to try their dangerous stunts at home, they should've told other athletes not to execute their deadly moves inside the mixed martial arts ring.
A familiar move from the wrestling federation found its way into the Octagon during the Full Contact Contender 19 event over the weekend in Bolton, England. The MMA fight between Aaron Jones and Jonno Mears evolved into something more interesting when the latter pulled off the Boston crab, more popularly known as Walls of Jericho among wrestling fans.
In the first round of their match, Mears was able to take down Jones, and followed up with Chris Jericho's tap-out maneuver. With his two thumbs up and tongue out, the middleweight from Rochdale sealed the victory in only his second professional bout.
Whether or not this really is the first-ever submission via Walls of Jericho inside the Octagon, it doesn't matter, as long as Y2J approves:
