Nobody can argue that Zach LaVine is the best dunker in the NBA right now (Sorry, Gerald Green).

After all, he brought home the 2015 NBA Slam Dunk Contest crown and, at the same time, pumped life back to the dunk competition which has sucked for several editions now. (Whoever thought of that team-style competition last year must be scratching their heads right now...)

If that ain't enough, we have this modest (by his current aerial standards) highlight reel from his rookie season:

Although he wasn't able to strut his stuff in the playoffs (his team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, finished with the league-worst record 16-66), we're assured of some insane above-the-rim displays in the future from this young fellow. Unless, of course, the Derrick Rose Curse somehow finds its way to him. Have mercy, hoops gods!

Despite his gift of hops, LaVine knows he must continue to put in extra work to become a more complete player. And even in these workouts during their early season break, the 19-year-old still never fails to come up with jaw-dropping jams. Take, for instance, his most recent dunk creation:

Your eyes aren't fooling you; LaVine really caught what looks to be the love child of an alley-oop and a football forward pass to execute this ridiculous rim rocker. And yes, THAT WAS A FREAKIN' FOOTBALL!

Your move, Derrick Jones and Jordan Kilganon...
