News recently broke out that Apple is currently testing at least 10 prototypes for their next iPhone. According to the latest news, the popular phone manufacturer is testing an iPhone equipped with an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display technology. Since next year will be Apple's 10th anniversary, everyone is expecting an upgraded iPhone, which looks far from the recently released iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Though rumors have already spread out about the possibilities of what the iPhone 8 will look like, there's still no assurance as to what the device will be once it is released.
Others, on the other hand, are still hoping that the next iPhone will be better than the last. On our part, FHM has come up with an early Christmas wish list of features that should be included in the iPhone 8. We're hoping we get Apple's attention so we could have a super phone by next year.
1) OLED display
Some rumors claim that Apple might switch from IPS LCD displays to OLED displays for the 2017 iPhone. An OLED display will allow Apple to scrap the home button and just put the Touch ID feature on the screen itself.
2) Curved screen
It's not such a bad idea for Apple to have a curved screen similar to smartphones made by Samsung. A curved screen would allow for a bezzel-free design which would mean a bigger screen size.
3) All glass design
You have to admit that an all glass design is going to look sleek. A change in design would pleasse Apple lovers all over the world since the iPhone 7 looks eerily similar to the iPhone 6. Also, we hope Apple chooses to keep the iPhone's waterproof quality.
4) Dual camera
Since the iPhone 7 Plus already comes with a dual rear camera, we can expect future iPhones to have the same feature. We're just hoping that Apple will increase the pixels for better quality.
5) Extended battery life
An extra two hours still isn't enough with all of our battery-draining apps. Maybe four or five more hours would be sufficient?
6) Super Siri
Just like Google Assistant, don't we all want a Siri that can do more than just answer stupid questions? The all new Google Assistant is capable of following conversations, so we're pretty sure that Apple can help Siri be more evolved.
7) Wireless charging
Since other phone brands have already released phones that are capable of wireless charging, it's not impossible for Apple to follow in their footsteps.
8) Headphone jack
We just really miss the headphone jack.
