We've just entered the first week of the sixth month of the year, which means we're nearing the time when we have to bid adieu to the season of sun, sand, surf, and (gasp!) bikinis! In place of these delights we'll have thunderstorms, heavily-clothed gals, and maybe (huwag naman sana, Lord) a couple of Ondoys along the way.
Add boredom to that list. Because when the weather forecast turns out to be gray with lots of H2O to literally rain on your parade, you might find yourself sulking in your crib instead of hangin' out with your bros.
Sure, you could sleep and cuddle (that's if you're attached to anyone) the day away. After all, the season is also known as bedroom weather. Or maybe you can sip hot mami or sabaw ng sinigang to perk you up. But then what? We're guessing you'll be gorging on DVDs, endless LOLcat vids, and DoTA or some other online game. Sounds entertaining, right? There's only one problem: You've done all that before!
So here now is our list of alternative ways to enjoy a rainy day. All are loads of fun, while some has the potential to make you productive. Check 'em out below.
1. Create a rainy days playlist
The gloomy weather can bring out the senti side out of even the most macho of dudes. And a compilation of songs that can make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside will be the perfect companion to that hot cup of coffee in your hand.
Perfect song samples: Hit it up with some old-school OPM hits like Rivermaya's "Ulan", APO Hiking Society's "Pumapatak Na Naman Ang Ulan", and the E-heads' "Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka".
