Last week, the much-hyped iPhone 5 was finally unveiled in a high-profile event that had the whole world watching. And, as expected, Samsung was not impressed. As if saying "meh" to Apple's latest and greatest smartphone, the Korean giant has released a not-so-subtle ad that should spark word wars between staunch Android supporters and their iPhone-loving counterparts. See the controversial poster below.

The ad basically implies that the iPhone 5 is not as revolutionary as Apple claims and falls way short compared to the Galaxy S III (on a related note, here's our own comparison of the two superphones). And the headline? Well, it doesn't take a genius to know that that this will not be the last trash-talk from the two companies. We just hope it'll be as downright ingenous as Silva vs. Sonnen II.

Samsung was recently ordered to pay Apple over $1 billion for "patent infringement" so something like this doesn't come as a big surprise. However, we say Round 1 of the Tech War goes to Sammy, only because they were so freaking bold. Ang tindi ninyo, men!

But we won't go out on a limb and say which of the phones is bettermahirap na. Instead, we wist to point out that both phones sport superb hardware, which has put them on top of the smartphone crop.

Anyway, we've also come across tweaked versions of the poster above, this time around mocking the Galaxy S III. Check those out in the gallery below.
