Recently, curious developers have stumbled upon additional features in the beta code that would likely come with the iOS 11. FHM puts the spotlight on two potential upgrades that loyal consumers will find useful.

Pause videos

No need for complicated editing apps; the update might soon allow you to pause and resume video recording with the camera, as per Daniel Niyazov. A single shot could be made up of several scenes, minus the third-party downloads. Forbes thinks that this aspect will be "exclusive to the iPhone 8" or is just a trial for a "minor point release in the future."

Guilherme Rambo discovered the potential in the HomePod firmware code, just like facial recognition and wireless charging. Staring at your phone automatically silences alert notifs, without having to configure the settings every once in a while. The new iPhone's rumored two front-facing cams and infrared sensor will most probably serve this function.
