Xiaomi has been very busy this year with their constant stream of new releases that compete with devices from other well-known brands such as Apple. They've beencatching the public off guard introducing revolutionary phones and laptops that are rattling their competitors.
Unlike the Mi Box 3, the 3c and 3s are powered by artificial intelligence. This means that the set-top box will be able to learn your viewing habits over time and will be able to make suggestions based on your popular choices.
As for the specifications, it doesn't fall far from the features of the Mi Box 3. The 3c includes 4K video playback and will be powered by a 2GHz quad-core Amlogic S905 processor. It will have 1GB of RAM and 4GB flash storage. You can also connect the 3c to your Wi-Fi and will include an HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.1, and 2 USB 2.0 ports.
The Mi Box 3s on the other hand will be able to support both 4K video playback and High Dynamic Range (HDR). It will be powered by a 2GHz quad-core Amlogic S905X processor. This device will have a higher RAM of 2GB as well as 8GB of flash storage. The 3s can also connect to your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and will have the same ports found on the 3c.
Both devices will be sold with a Mi Touch IR remote that has a touch-sensitive control area near the top.
The Xiaomi Mi Box 3c and Mi Box 3s will be rolled out on November 22 in China but there's no news as to when they will start selling it internationally. They will be priced at ¥199 and ¥299 respectively. Directly converted, that will be worth P1,500 and P2,000.
