See that device above? That's something special that ASUS has just unleashed. Call it the P8Z77-V PREMIUM which is actually the first Intel Thundebolt-certified motherboard and, the good news is, it's coming to the Philippines next month!

In case you didn't know, Thunderbolt is currently almost exclusively available on Macs so, yep, this is a welcome development for Windows users. But, what is it exactly? It's a connection interface that can achieve transfer speeds well over what USB, even v3.0, can. Think up to 10Gbps. Nice, no? The P8Z77-V PREMIUM will have it as well as its cheaper sibling, the P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT. Aside from the Thunderbolt interface, the P8Z77-V PREMIUM will also have other niceties like True 4-way NVIDIA SLI and 4-way AMD CrossFireX on PCIe Gen 3.0 slots as well as a 32GB built-in mSATA-based SSD which contributes to ultra-fast boot up and resume times.

As for pricing and availability, the P8Z77-V PREMIUM will retail for P23,990 while the P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT will go for much less at P13,990. Both will be available next month. In the meantime, for more details, check out the specs sheet below.
