We're thankful to have witnessed first-hand the demon-infested, hack-and-slash expansion come to life, and for good reason. It's truly a gem of a game every RPG-addicted gamer should try out. And it goes waaay beyond awesome visuals and hacking away at bangungot-inducing monsters. Heck we even think your jowa will appreciate it. No kidding!
But the good guys at Blizzard didn't stop there. While ROS was the main star of the festivities, the representatives of the company behind über-popular game franchises like Starcraft and Warcraft gave us a pleasant surprise: they let us try out their still-under-wraps game Heroes of the Storm!

If you’re a Blizzard fanboy, then you would’ve noticed something unusual in the preview video: It had characters from Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft. Yes, folks, Heroes of the Storm will allow players to choose and play characters from three of Blizzard’s most popular franchises! Yowzah!
Kerrigan (assassin) is primed for an epic bitchfit
That white gunner chick? She’s Nova from Starcraft II. The dark warrior who's wielding a big-ass sword like he’s overcompensating for something? That’s Arthas from Warcraft III. And of course, the giant reddish halimaw that got nuked in the end is Diablo himself.
Currently, Heroes of the Storm has 26 characters. We’re told at least 13 more will be added to the list once the game rolls out.
IT’S LIKE DOTA...SORT OF
In Defense of the Ancients or DoTA (a popular Warcraft III spin-off), players choose from a huge list of characters called heroes and play a two-team battle. These heroes level up by killing other heroes or the creeps (uncontrolled minions) that stream out of both camps in a set interval.
