Brace yourselves, Zelda fans. Nintendo is making a mobile version of the popular video game franchise featuring Link, which you can soon enjoy on your smartphones.
According to Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima, fans can expect the game to be released by 2018, the Inquirer reports.
However, not much information is known about the yet-to-be-titled Zelda game, which is still currently in development.
Kishimoto previously stated that Nintendo plans to pump out up to three more smartphone games, including mobile versions of Animal Crossing and Zelda by March 2018.
So far, Nintendo has released mobile versions of Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes, after the massive success of Pokemon GO last year.
The mobile version of Zelda will set the tone for the iconic franchise, following the highly successful release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, a Nintendo Switch launch title last March.
