Meanwhile, in gadget news that make us say "weh, di nga?" we've just learned that we might see the highly-anticipated follow-up to the Google Nexus 7 tab soon. When? This July. Yes, just a few months from now! Well, at least that's the buzz going through the interwebs right now.
The first-gen Nexus 7
But first, let us tell you we're excited with this. You see, the Nexus 7 is one of the most popular tablets today. Aside from sporting decent hardware, bannered by the combo of a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB RAM, the ASUS-made device sports something that many other tablets lack: a pang-masa SRP. Selling for just P13,995, it's way cheaper than other tablets that sport similar specs.
Aside from the price, the Nexus 7 is a very reliable device. We've actually played with it and we deem it as a purchase-worthy gadget. Here are our five reasons.
Could this be it? We're not betting our balls
As for what its successor will look like, nothing's written in stone yet. But according to the chismosos of the web, it will indeed be ready this July. Of course, since it's a follow-up, we're expecting it to have upgraded goodies. The tech rumor mill has picked up on this as well, saying that the next Nexus 7 will boast a higher resolution touchscreen, a faster processor, and maybe even a new version of Android. Maybe Key Lime Pie.
But don't bet on this just yet. Rumors are still rumors so it's better to make sure first. We'll be on the look out for more developments on this one. Mahirap na makuryente, mga pre!
