Oblivion is an RPG lover’s wet dream. For starters, if you have an incredibly beefy PC, the graphics are stunning. In the vast outdoor areas, think of it as a better-looking Far Cry with elves and goblins. In terms of gameplay, it’s the GTA: San Andreas of RPGs. You can follow a main quest but you can take on adventures on your own pace as you discover new areas on foot or on your trusty steed. Character customization is very deep. Thinking of creating a stealthy she-elf who’s good at hand-to-hand combat, haggling and making potions on the side? Oblivion let’s you do just that.

- Warp your world by dropping the console via the TILDE key and input player.coc locationIDname where locationIDname is the map you wish to go to.

- When you have the option to join the theives guild by meeting Armand at the Imperial Water Front garden around 11PM, go for it. He’ll offer you the option to buy lockpicks—but don’t give in. Instead, go into sneak mode then go behind him. Not only will you get the lockpicks from him for free, you can also pickpocket him till kingdom come to build up your sneak skill.

- Go through the tower all the way to the top, till you reach the sigil stone. Simply save the game before the stone spawns and you can re-randomize the stone by re-loading the game, if you don’t dig it.
