We've previosuly made it clear that for something to get the FHM unboxing treatment, it has to have that special, um, "something." It may be its appeal, history, prestige or, in the case of the gadget we're about to lovingly unbox and fondle with wide grins on our faces, a combination of looks and awesome hardware.
Guys and gals, we now have the Android-powered LG Optimus Vu, a device that has the "just launched" tag and the innards to make it one of the mobile flagships of the Korean giant. It's big and classy—like a version of the Incredible Hulk that wears a tux. And, just like the famed Marvel character, it's one powerful son of a gun. With a quad-core Nvidia processor that's partnered with 1GB of RAM, it has enough juice to run your mobile chores no problemo.
Add to the mix other sales-speak-worthy stuff like full wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth), dual-cameras (8-megapixel main, 1.3-megapixel secondary), HD recording and playback, and a huge-ass 5-inch touchscreen and you've got yourself one packed device.
No doubt we're interested in reviewing the heck out of it (we've actually had a brief hands-on sesh with it). And we will (excited na nga kami)! But before we get down to the nitty gritty, let us first give you this first glimpse of the Optimus Vu. Think of this as a sneak peek of things to come. Check out the gallery below!
Note: The LG Optimus Vu was launched locally last week and has an SRP of P27,990. Stay tuned for FHM.com.ph's full review.
