Apple has released a lot of new products for the past few months. First, they unveiled the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus last September, while the new MacBook Pro followed on October.

There were also rumors about an upcoming iPhone 8, and plans for a bendable Apple phone. One device that seems to be missing from the lineup is is the iPad

Now, after two years since the iPad Air 2 was released comes rumors of the iPad Air 3.

According to reports, the iPad Air 3 could have some borrowed qualities from the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, such as 3D Touch support similar to the technology on the iPhone 7's home button. The device is also rumored to have a fingerprint sensor, lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, and be waterproof.

One leaked image hints on the possibility of a quadruple speaker system—two on top and two on the bottom.

The iPad Air 3 might also come in colors such as Jet Black and Rose Gold, which are a visual upgrade from the silver iPads the public is familiar with.

As for the specifications, the Air 3 could possibly sport a 9.7-inch display capable of capturing 4K quality videos, an A10 processor, 4GB RAM, and a dual camera which is again similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. The front camera will have 2.1 megapixels while the main camera willbe of 8 megapixel quality with LED flash.

The Apple tablet is rumored to be released in March 2017.
