The iPhone 8 is almost here and it wouldn’t be an Apple launch without leaks and rumors flowing non-stop. And now, photos claiming to be the “actual” iPhone 8 have been released by international technology news website BRG for the first time.
According to the images, the device features glass panels on the front and back, with slightly curved edges a mid-frame made from stainless steel. It also has a cool OLED infinity screen. It’s still not clear whether they will include the Touch ID sensor under the glass, since the home button has been removed.
Furthermore, the dual-lens camera located behind the phone has been retained, only it's positioned vertically.
Despite the outcry of Apple fans regarding the iPhone 7’s missing headphone jack, the latest installment won’t have the 3.5mm headphone jack and is expected to feature wireless charging.
Behold, here’s our first look at iPhone 8 in the flesh:
It’s still possible that this is not the final design, of course. It could just be another convincing mock up. For now, it’s probably best to wait for Apple’s announcement before we get our hearts set on an infinity screen.
