And so, they're finally here! HTC's newest babies have finally landed in the Philippines! Dear Techies, let's all give a warm "mabuhay!" to the One V and, of course, the One X, the Taiwanese-titan's new flagship smartphone!

We've actually already witnessed the couple in the flesh last week and even had a date with the One X (check out our hands-on here), but that was during a soft launch event held by Smart and HTC which means that, during that time, they're still "coming soon." Now, we can safely say that the One couple have arrived, giving more chances to local Android fans to take a look at Ice Cream Sandwich.

In case you didn't know, we've already discussed at length the hardware the One V and One X has so we'll just have a short preview this time. The One V, which is deemed as the entry-level of the One brood, sports a single-core 1GHz CPU, a 3.7-inch touchscreen (800 x 480 resolution), 512MB of RAM, and a 5-megapixel camera. It also has a curved chin which makes it look like the newer version of the HTC Hero. The One X, on the other hand, is HTC's new superphone, sporting goodies like a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch touchscreen display at 1280 x 720p resolution with Gorilla Glass, 32GB built-in memory, and an 8-megapixel camera with F2.0 aperture (1.3-megapixel secondary). Both units come with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box although, unfortunately, Beats branded earphones will not be part of the package this time around.

As expected, the third spawn of the brood, the One S, was absent from the festivities. We got to talk with HTC exec Justin Zhang about whether or not it'll hit local stores in the future. Sadly, no concrete details were spilled although there's still a bit of hope as he said they'll be looking at the viability of its arrival here and, if ever it does look good, the One S might make it here later this year. For now, we're satisfied with the One V and One X.
