Instagram has finally added their own selfie filters feature, something which its competitor Snapchat has become famous for.

The new feature, which Instagram calls 'face filters,' allows users to add facial effects when using the Stories camera.

To access this, users just need to launch their Stories camera then tap on the face filters icon located on the lower right. Alternatively, this can be done by pressing and holding on your face on the screen.

You can choose from eight starting filters which include the following effects:
Bunny, Koala, Peacock, Butterfly crown, Ice crown, Gold crown, Glasses, and Makeup.

Here’s a sample of the Bunny filter, which reminds us a lot of Snapchat’s popular dog version.

For now, these are the only available filters, but TechCrunch reports that Instagram promises more filters in the future.
