Ever felt like Instagram limits you by sort of forcing its users to post only the highlight photo of an experience, say a night out where a lot of memorable things actually happened?
Well that’s about to change. According to TechCrunch, Instagram is finally rolling out its carousel feature for everyone to use.
This feature will allow Instagram users to post a batch of 10 items composed of either photos, videos or a combination of both in one upload similar to how Facebook albums work.
You can also tag your friends in each individual item included in the carousel but only one caption and location applies for the whole upload which means that all 10 items will basically say the same thing.
If this sounds familiar then you’re right. The carousel feature was previously launched exclusively for Instagram advertisements back in 2015.
Instagram will conduct a global roll out of this feature for Android and iOS in the following weeks so don’t forget to keep your firmware updated.
