A couple months ago we heard that the slow rollout of Android 4.0 adoption was eating at the patience of consumers and Google partners alike, but it looks like one friend of the Big G is getting the (unofficial) Ice Cream Sandwich update sooner than the others.
If this leaked photo is to be believed, then somewhere a Galaxy Note is already running on Ice Cream Sandwich! Upgrades have long been pushed back for a lot of Android manufacturers, and partners like HTC have announced and kept their promise to have updates available by the end of March.
CNET reports that the Android 4.0 Galaxy Note leaked update courtesy of RootzWiki has support for the S Pen stylus with no affect on the unit's face unlock feature, LTE connection, audio quality, Google Voice, GPS and Flash although it did manage to wreck havoc on the TouchWiz launcher. Still, they end with a reminder that installing it will void your warranty and that if you don't know what you're doing you should probably just wait for the official update lest you end up with a really nice brick that won't even turn on.
Noobs, stay away from the root.
