Once upon a time, Skullcandy took a look at the headphones market, and yawned at what it saw. So Skullcandy went on to create a line of flashy headphones that are colorful and unique.

And the market bought it. In the five years Skullcandy has been in the country, it's become a top player in the action-sports lifestyle and streetwear market. Skullcandy’s electric line of earphones, earbuds, on-ear headphones, and over-ear headphones is currently available in 59 stores nationwide.

Having seen our appreciation for music, style and individuality, the audio brand now hopes to expand further and make the product more accessible. That starts now as the brand was officially launched in the country in an event held last February 18 at the Manila Pen.

Official local distributor Rains International’s goal: to open at least 300 stores within Metro Manila and 50 stores in the provinces by year’s end. Which tells us one thing: they’re out for world domination. That, or at the very least, get more of us hooked on the sweet stuff they offer. Check them out below.
