Hardcore fans of the popular tactical espionage franchise must be going nuts by now. [firstpara] Following the overwhelmingly positive performance of Metal Gear Solid 4 in 2008, Hideo Kojima has tortured all of us enough by making us wait another two years before releasing the most-anticipated sequel to Naked Snake’s epic war battle.

In a month’s time, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will finally be released in PSP. The playable demo released last December has generated positive reviews, making the wait all the more dragging.

We are big devotees of the Solid-Liquid rivalry, but nothing pumps our adrenaline more than the jungle-crawling, original bad-ass NPA of the 1960s, Naked Snake a.k.a. Big Boss.

Known as the game that contains the last remaining pieces of the puzzle, MGS: Peace Walker takes place during the mid-1970s, when Naked Snake and his Militaires Sans Frontières (Soldiers without Borders; Outer Heaven's predecessor) were tapped to turn back a terrorist threat.

The Costa Rican government has banned the creation of armed forces, which makes it difficult for them to face the threat posed by a mysterious military force, thus them turning to Snake.
