Miss Universe 2016 is finally set and the Philippines will be hosting the prestigious pageant early next year.
This is great news for everyone especially for reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach who was among the first to push for a Philippine hosting of the annual beauty contest.
There’s only one bad news when it comes to the pageant and it’s the ticket prices that are even more expensive than those for the Coldplay concert which is also set for next year.
According to Philstar, ticket prices for Miss Universe 2016 are pegged from P8,000 to a whopping P50,000 for VIP seats.
These tickets will be available for online purchase starting December 20.
But just in case you’re unable to bag a ticket for yourself or you’re having second thoughts on whether to spend that hard-earned cash on tickets, we’ve listed a few items that are also worthy of your attention.
1) Mobile phone
You can choose from virtually every phone in the market if you have a budget of at least P8,000 to P50,000.
So why not get the newest gadget on the block; the iPhone 7 with your hard-earned cash.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 7 is listed at P39,990 while its big brother, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus with a dual photo lens feature costs P44,990.
2) Gaming gadget
No game, no life? Worry not because the Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro is here to save the day.
The PS4 Pro boasts 1TB of prime gaming space, upscale graphics for 4K compatibility to level up your gaming experience and is listed at roughly P22,500.
If you can hold out a bit then you might also want to consider the Nintedo Switch, a hybrid console-handheld gadget scheduled to come out early next year.
There’s no details yet for its price but it’s already rumored to cost in between P12,500 to P19,000 for the initial release.
