This is certainly a highly-anticipated development, thanks to the iPhone being one of the most popular and polarizing gizmos of all time. With that, we can now finally say goodbye to the extravagant unofficial SRPs we saw a month ago and say hello to the official pricing deets, at least from Smart and Globe.

We'll give you the lowdown on both telco's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus offerings as well as tell you when it will be available below. So start counting your cash and read on, aspiring owners of the newest iPhones!

SMART

First, here's a table of Smart's postpaid offerings for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus:

Confused by all the numbers? Don't worry; we'll help you understand what those digits mean!

Cash-out Talk

The amounts stated under each plan are the cash-out fees you'll have to pay when subscribing to a specific iPhone 6 or 6 Plus plan. That's on top of the monthly subscription fees. So you better be prepared to spend if you want to snag the newest iPhones.

For example, if you buy the 16GB iPhone 6 under Smart's iPhone Plan 999, you'll have to shell out an additional P19,200 or P800 a month via credit card installment. It's not indicated in the chart but the cash-out for the other postpaid plans can also be paid via installment basis with a credit card.

The cash-out fees also increase as the storage capacity rises (16GB to 128GB) or if you'll buy the bigger iPhone 6 Plus.

Bonuses

Yeah, your wallet's gonna have a hard time. But know this: Smart's postpaid plans come with a host of monthly freebies and features to help you max the heck out of your new iPhone. To give you an idea, you'll get 150 minutes of voice calls and 200 SMS to all networks along with 10GB of data for one month, among others, at Plan 2000. S-W-E-E-T!

Prepaid Pricing

If you don't want the monthly hassle of paying for a subscription, Smart has also revealed their prepaid SRPs! The good news: They're not as stratospheric as the heart-attack-inducing prices we saw online two months ago. The not-so-good news: You'll still have to save up, big time...

Compared to the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 6 is definitely a bit more expensive. The 16GB variant of last year's iPhone 5S was initially priced by Smart at P35,000, or P1,700 cheaper than the cheapest iPhone 6.

Looks like our techie crystal ball was spot on! We predicted the new iPhones coming sometime this month at the earliest, and Smart has announced that it will go on sale starting this Friday, November 14. However, for those who really can't wait, you can reserve a unit now by clicking this link. Note that it will still be available no sooner than the 14th, but at least you'll have less hassle to deal with come release day by pre-ordering online.
