Oppo is raising the bar when it comes to taking selfies with their new flagship that boasts a front-facing camera, which incorporates technology that goes beyond age, gender, and skin to capture human beauty in all its forms.
The Oppo F5 comes equipped with an impressive 20MP selfie camera that can easily snap smoother photos compared to its rear camera system that only has 16MP.
“The OPPO F5 takes camera phones to the next generation. It defies the paradox of marrying Artificial Intelligence technology with organic beauty to create the most natural and stunning of selfies,” the Chinese company said in a statement.
Aside from the selfie-centric cameras, the smartphone has a Face Unlock feature similar to what the iPhone X has to offer.
The Oppo F5’s main specs include a 6-inch FHD+ display, a fairly large 6GB RAM (base model has 4GB) with 32GB expandable storage, powered by a MediaTeK octa-core CPU that runs on a 3,200mAh non-removable battery pack. It also has a fingerprint scanner and dual nano SIM slots.
The Oppo F5 will set you back P15,990 and comes out of the box with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Pre-orders for this midrange selfie machine are only up to today, November 3. You’ll get a free OLike speaker worth P2,990 if you go for the preorder option.
