After a lengthy vacation, countless parties, and admiration of the fireworks display this new year, it's time to turn our focus again on what really matters. Apart from the arrival of the new year, one of our most anticipated events for this month is the International Consumer Electronic Show, also known as CES. It's considered as one of the most popular gadget shows where different companies get to showcase new gadgets and devices.
But alas, there are just too many gagdets featured in the expo and we can't enumerate everything for you. However, there are those which stood out among the rest, mainly the computers and laptops. The new technology in future computers and laptops simply look promising. Features such as 3D and 2D scanners, eyetracking, and futuristic looking screens can be seen as the theme of the computers at CES.
We've rounded up some of the most extraordinary gadgets for computer geeks to admire. Check them out:

So what's amazing abotu this laptop? A lot, apparently. For one, it's lighter, thinner, and has a hardened carbon fiber body to make it more durable if you're the clumsy type. The main feature however is its 15.5-hour battery life so you don't have to worry of losing power in case you leave your charger behind.

Remember the alien-like laptop that made the rounds on the internet last year? Well, it also showed up in this year's CES. Just to refresh your memory, the Predator from Acer has a 21-inch curved screen. However, there's an added feature, and that's the eye-tracking camera to follow your what you're looking at while playing. Pretty cool!

Another gaming device from Acer, this time in the form of a PC. Like its laptop counterpart, the monitor also has eye-tracking capabilities enabling it to follow your eyes as it moves across the screen. Don't worry because it also has a curved display for a better, stationary, gaming experience for the hardcore gamers out there.
