Sony treats the world to a whole new definition of 'TV'as they unveiled their 2012 BRAVIA line-up last night at the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa in Cebu City. Now Sony has always been known for its quality products, and the new TVs are no different. We spotted a Google TV too, but that's another story.
"Television consumers have told us the mix of formats and features often creates confusion but we know that the best part of the TV has always been---and will always be---the picture quality, says Sony Philippines President and Managing Director, Takao Kuroda. He adds that Sony is making TV buying easier with models that have clear differences and are designed to deliver the best-in-class picture ever.
One of the new models was the impossible to ignore BRAVIA HX 855. Keeping the monolithic design of previous BRAVIA TVs, this flagship model has crisp and vivid pictures regardless of format or source (Full HD Blu-Ray or low-res Internet videos) and it's incorporated with Corning Gorilla Glass which, frankly, not a lot of manufacturers can claim. Gorilla Glass makes the screen both thin and light, but strong. It's also got some custom apps built just for it so users won't experience shortage of content.
