The flagship device, which was made with gamers in mind, is called the Razer Phone 2018 Gold Edition and has the same specs as the standard model released in November. A closer look shows there’s actually not a lot of difference when it comes to aesthetics, but it does boast a gold Razer logo on the phone’s rear, which simply screams exclusivity. Aside from this, it comes in pretty Chinese-themed red and gold packaging, complete with a numbered certificate of ownership.
The Razer Phone has a 5.7-inch 2K QHD display with Ultramotion technology for a seamless gaming experience, all thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate. Its main specs include a massive 8GB RAM with 64GB expandable storage, all powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 that runs on 4,000mAh. There’s also dual 12MP rear cameras, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a fingerprint sensor.
Razer will only make 1,688 units of the Gold Edition, which will be available in Hong Kong and the online US RazerStore for $700 (roughly P36,000).
