Heads up, Techies! We just got official confirmation that Nokia's 808 PureView will finally be rolling out to markets starting this month. Definitely good news for those who want (that includes us) to finally check out what its 41-megapixel built-in camera can really do.
First unveiled a couple of months ago, the 808 PureView is now considered to be the handset to beat in terms of shooting capabilities (although the likes of the HTC One X has something to say about that). Fact is, it won the Best New Mobile Handset award at this year's MWC, thanks to its PureView camera technology. Aside from its 41 megapixels of imaging goodness, the device sports a 4-inch ClearBlack display with Gorilla Glass, a 1.3GHz CPU, full HD 1080p video recording and playback, and Symbian Belle beating as its heart.
The 808 PureView will first be available in India and Russia although, given how popular Nokia still is on local shores, a Philippine landfall is likely coming soon after. In the meantime you could check out the gallery below for a glimpse of what the smartphone's shooting chops can give you.
