Let's face it, Apple iMacs aren't really just for show and we love them because of what they can do, the fact that they look nice sitting on your desk is a nice plus. If this new rumor proves to be true, aesthetics are a lot more important than what they seem, as Digitimes reports that the new iMac due later in the year will be slimmer and come equipped with new anti-reflective glass displays.
The rumor is said to be from an Apple supplier (big surprise there) that's known to supply anti-reflective glass solutions to PCs. iMacs aren't portable like the MacBook Pro, which could be fitted with the AR glass if specified and pre-ordered by the consumer, so we're kind of glad to see that Apple is standardizing their products, much like putting the new iPad's retina display on the iPhone 5, maybe (fingers crossed).
We know what you're going to say, but what would a week be without a remotely obscure yet intriguing Apple rumor?
