There's news that Apple will be coming up with a new version of the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro that is due for production in June. Also, it is said that Tim Cook and co. is ordering higher numbers for the smaller model of its notebook compared to the 15-incher. The reason? The projected higher demand for the smaller MacBook Pro.
According to Digitimes, production is set for 100,000 to 150,000 units of the 15-inch MacBook Pro but there's no specific number targets yet for the 13.3-inch model.
About a year ago, we reported about another Macbook Pro buzz saying its next iteration would have MacBook Air-like qualities. The optical drive was rumored to be axed so the entire device could be thinner. Will this finally come true with the 13.3-inch ones? We'll have to wait for a few months to find out, and we expect more rumors to come our way soon. The question is, which ones are legit?
