Apple is reportedly planning on adding a new hue to its regular iPhone color lineup currently consisting of silver, gold, rose gold and jet black options.

According to fairly reliable Japanese tech rumor site Macotakara, which cited an Apple product analyst, the tech giant might unveil a red color option for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus during an event this March.

Macotakara previously predicted that the iPhone 8 might be released with a limited red color variant similar to how the jet black option was initially introduced for the iPhone 7 line.

Aside from the red iPhone rumors, Apple will also reportedly unveil four iPad Pro models including 7.9, 9.7, 10.5 and 12.9-inch models. The iPhone SE, which was released last year, will meanwhile have increased storage at 128 GB.

But going back to the red iPhone, the idea isn’t actually farfetched since Apple already offers red-colored products through their partnership with (RED) to promote HIV/AIDS awareness.

For now, we have to rely on custom videos to know what a red iPhone might possibly look like.
