We'd like to thank the guys and gals of Samsung for not taking their sweet time in bringing one of the most hotly-anticipated gadgets of the year to the Philippines. Ladies and gents, the Galaxy Note 4 is officially here! Yebah!

Officially launched overseas just last month, the Galaxy Note 4 is the latest specimen in Sammy's super mabenta phablet line. To give you an idea, its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3, sold 10 million units in just 60 freakin' days! While that stat might be hard to duplicate, we say the Galaxy Note 4 literally has the guts to equal or even exceed it.

We'll tell you all about its hardcore innards but first, another look at the gorgeous gadget wonder:

Bros, this is defininitely not a toy. A peek inside also reveals another geek-approved thing: this beast is a lean, mean mobile machine!

Powered by either a quad- or octa-core processor (depending on the region) and 3GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note 4 will make mincemeat of the most demanding mobile chores. Selfies? Mobile Internet? HD video? Gaming? Kahit pagsabay-sabayin mo pa, the Galaxy Note 4 will be able to take it! And you'll see it do so via the 5.7-inch touchscreen which packs an astounding resolution of 2560x1440. That's significantly higher than 1080p Full-HD, fellas! #WOW

The Galaxy Note 4 packs up to 32GB of internal storage, which is already roomy. But if that's still a bit cramped for you, a microSD card slot is provided for increasing the total capacity by 64GB max. You'll also get Bluetooth (of course), Wi-Fi (expected), 3G (no suprises there), 4G (now that's nice), and even NFC or near field communications which lets you do stuff like making wireless payments with the phablet. Color us impressed!

For selfie addicts (we haven't forgotten about you), the Galaxy Note 4 boasts of a 16-megapixel camera that can capture videos in 2K quality or twice that of Full-HD. Oh, it also has a fingerprint sensor, too, like that other super patok phablet.

In a nutshell, the Galaxy Note 4 is an impressive and handsome piece of hardwarehardware that costs P37,990 a pop. Whew! But then again, it's not as if it doesn't deserve that price; you've got to shell out if you want to go premium, right?
